Maximum Ride: Finally Hitting the Little Screen?

My Maximum Ride Collection
Despite the fact that the Maximum Ride series (by New York Times Bestseller author, James Patterson) Maximum Ride's franchise, and intend on making it into a Youtube mini-series. No cast or release date has yet to be announced, but the development is expected to go quickly. Also, according to James Patterson's publisher, another Maximum Ride novel is in the works, and is expected to be released in January 2015.
has had it's far share of trouble in the movie 'biz (they were wanting to do a film for ages, but it never took off the ground) it seems Max and her Flock will finally been seen on the screen; albeit, a much tinier screen than imagined. Collective Digital Studio bought the rights to
I used to be a major fan of this series (but fell somewhat out of it after the 'final' Maximum Ride novel, Nevermore, as I'd read all of the books so many times) and while I haven't read the series in awhile, I'm really looking forward to this miniseries, and am intrigued to see who they cast as Max and co. While I wasn't exactly a fan of how the last book ended (it left a lot of things open), I'm hoping we'll find out what happened to certain characters if there will indeed be another Max book.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Book Series Review

Hello! I'm back, and with a brand new book review, too!
Percy Jackson and the Olympians is a book series written by Rick Riordan, and is about a 12 year boy, Percy Jackson, who finds out he's a Demi-God.

Overview:
12 year old Percy Jackson doesn't have the best of luck-he never stays at the same school for more than a year, he's dyslexic, and has ADHD.
But then he finds out he's the son of a Greek God, and he's suddenly thrown into a series of events, all leading up to a bigger threat than the last. With his best friends Grover and Annabeth, and other friends from Camp Half-Blood, he's ready for any adventure.

Review:
I had the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series finished within a month-five books in a month. Well, six, because I took a small break between the second book to read Confessions of a Murder Suspect by James Patterson. The books themselves are good, the chapter titles are often hilarious and entertaining, and this is a must read book series.

Books in the Series:
The Lightning Thief
The Sea of Monsters
The Titan's Curse
The Battle of the Labyrinth
The Last Olympian

Note: The book series has been converted into Graphic Novels, and also two films (though they are not book accurate)

Stars:
Five

Sincerely,
your friendly neighborhood blogger,

Witch and Wizard Review

Well, I must admit, when I first tried it, I was a little skeptical, and at first run, I didn't like it. But, I tried it again this week, thanks to Papa, and loved it! James Patterson, I'm so sorry I doubted you! Anyhow, Witch and Wizard is about two teenage siblings, Whit, and Wisty. The New Order claims they are a witch and a wizard, and so arrests them, and their parents, and separates them, their parents leaving them only a lousy old drumstick, and a blank journal.

That's all I'm giving away, I don't want you to go 'Spoiler Alert, Much?' on me! Anyhow, by the time you've read this book, you'll want to jump in and kick the New Order's butt. Ahem, anyway, It's a great book, I had a hard time putting it down!

Grade: A+

Ages: All

Favorite Moment: A certain reference to a certain other James Patterson Young Adult series...starting with an M.....
