Last night during Agent Carter's fantastic premiere episodes, fans were given a glimpse into their, albeit tiny, future. That's right, there's finally a trailer for Ant-Man. And, yes, it's too late to change the name, Scott.
Although it might be a tiny bit risky to make a film about a super-hero named Ant-Man, I can't help but remember how risky Guardians of the Galaxy was, and how much everyone loved it. The trailer showcases some of Marvel's trademark humor, with Scott (Paul Rudd) making remarks on the name. Another thing that could make this film different from the rest of the Marvel films is that the superhero actually has a daughter, which is an interesting change for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Looks good to me! And I agree, compared to the risk of Guardians this is nothing. If anything it'll flop because it's not risky enough! Hehe, but I don't think it will, it looks very promising. :) That was really good -- "is it too late to change the name?" :D
ReplyDeleteIt does look good, but I'll hold out most of my judgment until the second trailer is released. But, yeah, that part was funny.
