Chuck Series Review

I'm back from a couple day absence, and- yahoo!-it's summer break! Today, I'm here reviewing the television show that we've been netflixing for the past month-Chuck.

Synopsis: Minor Spoilers-well, mainly the synopsis of the series, but still.
Chuck Bartowski works at the local Buy More, and lives with his sister, and has to deal with the crazy things his friends do everyday. But when he receives an email from an old friend from Stanford, all of that changes because the email contains government secrets. Thanks to that knowledge in Chuck's head, he ends up in the spy world when a CIA and an NSA agent show up to protect him, in a joint-organization operation to keep Chuck safe and go on dangerous missions, using the knowledge he know holds.

Review:
I admit, I didn't watch the first three episodes. Why? Because I thought it would be a stupid show. My Mom found out about it on Twitter, and started to watch it. Then so did my Dad. Finally, I just pulled a Doctor, and figured, 'What the hay?' and I started to watch it. And I must admit, it wasn't as stupid as I thought it would be. In fact, it wasn't stupid at all. Admittedly, it's a silly show. But a good, funny silly. Although, don't let that throw you off, because some episodes are more serious than others. It's a very funny show, has plenty of Geeky references that I absolutely love, because normally when watching TV, I have to go to my translators for info when a reference is made (Mom or Dad), so when I get one, I turn into the Cap: I understood that reference. So, I like finding shows that I know the references they make.
The show has had some pretty big guest stars as well, including (but not limited to) Timothy Dalton (Rassilon), and the one, the only, the Stan Lee (No, I'm not kidding). The stories themselves are pretty well done, and have great humor, and almost always have Chuck in dangerous, and silly, situations. Everyone on the show does a marvelous job (er, pun not intended).
My favorite character in the show would have to be Chuck. Mainly because he's such a sweetheart, and the fact that he wears Converse in every episode could help a little too, but you just...you can't help but liking Chuck, he's one of those instant likeable characters in my opinion.
My only complaint about the show would be the ridiculous outfits they put the female characters in in the first couple of seasons (it stopped mainly around season four), and I think spies would probably dress more sensibly, and probably more like Kate on Castle or Elizabeth on the Blacklist.
So, in all, it's a fantastic show, it'll make you laugh, and-if you're sensitive like me-make you cry, but it'll be one fun heck of a ride!

Overview:
5/5

    1. Well, at least now I know I'm not the only one! It's a real fun series, and has plenty of references to different things (the main ones being Star Wars). Well, if you do, I hope you enjoy! (Oh, I forgot to mention, it was only on for five seasons, it's unfortunately over now).
