Ultimate Spider-Man Cartoon Review

As a huge Marvel fan, I watch majority of the cartoons. Most of them being Spider-Man. I grew up watching X-Men, and Spider-Man cartoons. Then there was Spectacular Spider-Man. I thought, 'OK, I can't tell between who's Peter and who's Harry!' a few months back, I watched them again, and enjoyed them more than I did before (I have a habit of doing this. With Witch and Wizard, Amazing Spider-Man, Doctor Who Series Five, Spectacular Spider-Man, and Ultimate Spider-Man) when I heard Spectacular was cancelled, and there was a new one, Ultimate Spider-Man. I read so many negative reviews, I figured it'd be a terrible show. One day, I was browsing through YouTube, and found a special feature on Ultimate. Still thinking it wasn't worth watching after watching the video, I completely forgot about it. Until Netflix added it Last Week.

I saw it, added it to instant, and was watching a little while later. And I fell in love with the show. It's aimed more towards kids, but I still laugh at most parts of the episodes! It's comedic, and I think it's cool that Spider-Man/aka Peter Parker, talks to the Audience, this way, Kids feel connected towards Spidey even more. I have to admit, I was completely wrong about this show, and cannot wait until Season Two, which premieres Monday, January 21st at 7 p.m. Season Two will have a one-hour premiere before returning to regular time slot, Sunday at 11 a.m. The Season, Spider-Man will be facing The Lizard and Electro.

                                                               OVERVIEW:

After a year of being Spider-Man, Peter Parker has been offered by S.H.I.E.L.D. to become the 'Ultimate Spider-Man' but Nick Fury has some other plans as well. With S.H.I.E.L.D. putting Agent Phil Coulson as Principal at Peter's high school, and Fury assigning Spidey to a team of teen superheroes, whom he will fight alongside with-if they ever stop arguing that is-all for him to become The Ultimate Spider-Man.

Main Characters:
Peter/Spider-Man
Sam/Nova
Luke/Power-Man
Danny/Iron Fist
Ava/White Tiger

                                                              Wish List for Season Two:
Bring in a new team member: they've gotten so used to the five of them, adding a new team member would add a twist, something no one was expecting.

Less Venom: He had at least four appearances in Season One-I know he's a fan favorite, but give him a break, maybe after a season, or half a season, bring him back as a surprise!

More Villains: We know Lizard and Electro will be in it, why not Shocker? He's another great Spidey villain. Or Rhino. Maybe even Mysterio!

Maybe even a reunion between Spidey, Iceman, and Firestar (I'd love to see her as part of the team!)

Make The Green Goblin look more like he did in the Comics.

GRADE: A+ (Five Stars)
