Synopsis:
After years of being without an evil master, the large community of Minions are depressed due to their lack of purpose. Three Minions decide to head out to try and find a new master, and end up on an adventure of a lifetime.
Review:
I expected many things from Minions. An adorable little film that left me laughing my butt off was not one of them. Seriously, though, the movie is hilarious all the way through, and adorable to boot. The plot was quite simple and effective, and had a few twists up its' sleeve. While I thought it'd be a hard movie to follow (due to the obvious language difference between humans and Minions), it was surprisingly easy to follow and easy to guess what each Minion was saying.
The film had a moment that actually made me teary eyed (because I'm sensitive), but naturally found a laugh out of me a few minutes later. It also featured an all-star cast that did superbly in their roles. While I'd not like to say some of my favorite scenes-due to spoilers-I can say that there was a lot of them and that it's incredibly hard to choose. Basically, if you're having a bad day and need something to cheer you up-Minions is just the thing.
10/10
