Agent Carter, the eight part series featuring Captain America: The First Avenger's Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter (who quickly became a quick fan favorite in the Marvel fandom), now has a new teaser trailer released, with far more footage than the last one.
The series premieres January 6th on ABC, and will briefly take Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s place while it is on winter hiatus. The series follows the popular one shot, also titled Agent Carter, which ended with Peggy joining Howard Stark to found S.H.I.E.L.D. Once more, much like the season two trailer of AOS, the trailer has some really catchy music-which just might end up on my playlist!

The excitement I feel in anticipation for this miniseries is easily equivalent to if it were a new Marvel movie being released in theaters! I am so excited for this! I was sad at first when I learned it's apparently just one-off 8 episode thing, and wouldn't be continuing, but at least that means it'll definitely have a great plot that wraps up nicely at then end. :D Thanks for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteI think it's an eight episode deal because it's supposed to take Agents of SHIELD's place while it's on winter hiatus, but Agent Carter looks awesome! I love stories that take place in the twenties, thirties and fourties, so I'm kind of excited to see what will happen! No problem-o!

DeleteI heard that reason too, and it makes sense. Oh, maybe if it's a big hit they'll do another 8 ep series next year or something... :P I know, it being set in the 40's is gonna make it so great!! It'll have more cool, old-fashioned spy work, and less gadgets and tech. :D
