Doctor Who: Into the Forest of the Night Review

Finally, the last review and I'll be caught up on them. This one is a review for the most recent episode. Onto the review!

Synopsis:
Earth wakes up one morning to find that they've been invaded: by trees. The Doctor finds himself in the middle of London, with a lost little girl. With Clara and Danny attempting to navigate the forest with a group of students from Coal Hill, they're forced to work out the mystery together.

Review:
I'll admit. I found this episode a bit...well, dull.
There wasn't much to do in the episode. The most exciting it got was with the tiger, and even that lasted a short amount of time. There was no last minute save the day, no clever resolve from the Doctor and co., it was just the trees saving the day. With first watch, it wasn't quite so boring (I watched the livestream), then I re-watched it with my Mom and Dad on BBCA, and I got bored of it.
There's not much to say about the episode unfortunately, it didn't have very many laugh-out-loud moments, or memorable quotes to it. To be honest, this is the first episode of this season I didn't really like, which is a bit of a bummer, but 1 out of 10 isn't so bad.

Overview:
3.5/5

  1. Agreed, not all that great of an episode. It was OK, but nothing about seemed that memorable. Can't wait for the finale though! As always, thanks for the link. :)

    1. The finale looks amazing (and a tad bit freaky, since Cybermen scare me). No problem-o!
