Alright, in the past two days, I've
gone through the complete first series/season of Sherlock, and
the first two episodes of season two (I skipped around on the first).
But today, I'm reviewing the review of The Blind Banker, episode two
of the first season.
Synopsis:
Sherlock and Watson are put on the
case by an old colleague of Sherlock's, and they discover a mystery
that ends in danger.
Review: Minor Spoilers
This one was okay; while it wasn't as
good as the first one, it was still pretty good. I recognized a lot
of places previously (well, previously for me) used on Doctor Who.
The mystery was pretty well-done too, and the end part with Watson
was an 'oops' kind of moment, like 'well, yeah, now that you consider
all of that, then yeah, oops'. The episode, in my opinion, wasn't as
good as the first, but that didn't put me off. The start of the
episode was hilarious, though, with Sherlock and Watson going through
their 'daily lives'. Oh, you know, just a normal day at 221b Baker
Street. At the end of the day, I suppose, this was was alright, but
not a favorite of mine.
Overview:
3/5

To me, this is probably the weakest episode of the series, and I agree with you for the most part about the rating. It was not nearly as amazing as the first episode, but still good and had some great humor.

I definitely agree with that; compared to the first episode (and the rest of the series), it just wasn't quite as good (especially compared to my favorite episode, The Hounds of Baskerville). It was still quite funny though.
