Hello, sorry 'bout that huge-o absence, haven't found the time to Blog the past few days (or comment, for that matter). But today is the long awaited review for Batman: Arkham Origins. Now, to be honest, I don't normally care about DC things. Normally. However, I was raised watching Justice League: Unlimited and Teen Titans, and Birds of Prey, and Smallville...so, I'm a bit of a DC girl. Anyway, I'd heard of these games somewhat before. I watched the trailer for the upcoming Batman game (Arkham Knight, I believe?), and I had to admit the game looked interesting (plus it had Harley in it, and I've just recently became a fan of her). Anyway, James from J and J Productions suggested that I try out the games one day.
Well, that day came sooner than expected, as my mom won this game in a giveaway, and me and my Dad gave the game a shot. And it actually was pretty darn fun. But, anyway, onto the review.
Synopsis:
It's Christmas Eve, and while all those in Gotham City are asleep in their beds, the criminals of the underbelly of Gotham are loose on the streets, wrecking havoc. When several different assassins are ordered to kill the supposed mythical Batman, he is lured into a much bigger threat-one that will change Bruce Wayne's life forever.
Review:
This was actually a pretty fun game. However, I'm not afraid to admit that it was a pain in the butt. Seriously, it took us a night and a afternoon or so to beat one of the bosses (hem, I'm pretty sure those who've played the game could guess who). Beyond the toughness of the bosses, and the occasional, 'wait, what am I supposed to be doing?' moments, the game was fairly easy. It introduced us to characters we know and love (Minor Spoilers: I loved seeing Oracle, especially the age she was, so it was around my age), and also gave us surprising moments that made me go 'No. No, they did not....' well, I can't say why I said that, 'cos of spoiler reasons, obviously
The graphics were surprisingly well done, and now that I'm half way through this review, I realize I have no idea how to write a review for a video game. The story itself was pretty good too, but I think it could've done with some humor. But, I guess this is Batman, not Spider-Man, so....
So, in all, the game was fun, but tough. That's pretty much all I have to say, because, like I said, I have no idea how to review video games.

While I did not like the game as much as Arkham City, Arkham Origins was still a lot of fun to play. :) Are you referring to the Deathstroke boss fight? I can't remember which one was particularly difficult.

That one was difficult for me too, I was just like, 'Slade....', but the main one I was referring to was the first Bane fight, because that one took us a while to get past.
