Yowzah! What an episode. It had everything in this episode: mystery, humor, heartbreak, ect. And that ending-huh. That's the only way I could explain it, is 'huh'. Which is a reference to the episode, but onto the review!
Note: There are spoilers in this review for this episode, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and episodes of AOS following 'Turn, Turn, Turn'
Synopsis:
Coulson and co. find out-thanks to a message from Skye-that Ward is Hydra, and have to find a way to get to her, as she and he have taken the Bus.
Review:
First of all, I will mention this: I loved the references to the first episode, especially going back to the diner, where everything started, it certainly gave you that 'oh, I remember those days' feeling, which is sad, since how it was only 8-9 months ago (I just woke up. Brain and the whole counting this isn't working at the current moment). But, if I'm perfectly honest, two characters just stole the show: Coulson and Skye. Really. Coulson with his humor, and Skye with her heartbreak, and don't even get me started on their reunion, because it was adorable (I love the father/daughter relationship between the two of them). This episode also brought in Maria Hill once more, and I have to say, I'm really enjoying the characters from the movies being brought into the show. If they keep this up, maybe, just maybe, more people will start watching.
This episode brought us answers to questions we've been wondering (Who was behind TAHITI?), it gave us some heartbreaking moments (Fitz finding out Ward is Hydra), brought us some 'you go girl!' moments (Skye telling off Ward at the diner, and the whole 'Hail Hydra'. I thought my favorite Skye line was 'With great power comes....a ton of weird crap that you are not prepared to deal with!'. It seems the diner is a great place for great/awesome Skye lines), and brought some 'No! Not Lola!' moments as well.
Really, this episode was great. This episode was the episode that was needed. It brought in answers for questions we've had all season, yet left them hanging in the air as well. It gave us that heartbreak of a team who's been betrayed, of a friend who was betrayed (Fitz), of a loved one who'd been betrayed (Skye), and just essentially, a family who was betrayed, and a team who'd lost a member because of a fight.
The episode saw the return of Deathlok, who's been gone since....hang on.....End of the Beginning! Couldn't remember the name before 'Turn, Turn, Turn', and Deathlok has certainly grown as a villain, and I think that in between that time, he just became eviler..is that a word, eviler? More evil, yeah, let's stick to more evil. And through the whole 'heart' scene, I was just telling the screen 'Don't do it Skye, you're not a killer. Don't let him do it'. And do you know what, I'm most certainly glad that she punched Ward. I'm still upset by this betrayal. I take things very seriously when a character betrays the other characters on a TV show. I take it personally.
Anyway, if anything, I think some of the best parts of the episode was Coulson's awesome lines ('If I come out will you shoot me? 'Cos then I won't come out'. 'Huh'.), his and Skye's reunion, the moment between Hill and Coulson about Lola ('I can't believe he shot Lola,'-Hill. 'I can't talk about it,'-Coulson), the scene when Fitz looses it in the lab after Simmons comes to the conclusion that Ward had killed Eric, the scenes between Skye and Ward were excellently done, and I loved her telling him off in the diner, ('I tipped them off. Hail Hydra'), and of course Coulson's reaction to the video at the end: 'Huh'.
Awesome episode, and I really can't see why anyone wouldn't want to watch this show. Oh well...

Agreed, another top notch episode! While I did have a problem with Skype saving Ward by giving up the information, I will let slide since she has never killed anyone before, or at least I don't think she has. But I can't wait until the episode tonight!!!!

I know, right? No, she hasn't (well, I don't think), but then again, she might not want to have done it because of her past as well, so.... I know, right? (I've already said that, oh well), I cannot wait.
