Agents of SHIELD: Turn, Turn, Turn Review

(Spoiler Free. No spoilers have been put in this post, and when you see this: [spoilers] insert certain text here [spoilers], it does not contain spoilers. I simply used the word spoilers instead of names, and actions)
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returned last night after a kinda-sorta-not really cliffhanger from last week's episode, End of the Beginning, and it tied into Captain America: The Winter Soldier in a lot of ways, and definitely would've spoiled the movie for anyone who hadn't seen it.
Though last night hit an all-time high in quality, the episode hit an all time low in ratings, which is sad, 'cause it was a brilliant episode. But enough of this, onto the review!

Synopsis:
The Bus is hurtling toward almost certain doom, Jemma and Tripp are stuck at a SHIELD HQ where danger lurks around every corner, and there's a traitor amongst them...

Review:
Wow. There are not enough words to describe how awesome this episode was, really. It was brilliant, and it was like a Marvel movie on a smaller scale, on the small screen, honestly, in my opinion. The episode had a ton of plot twists in it-I can't even count them all, to be honest-and had me screaming at the screen more than once, I can confirm that much. Many 'what's?' and 'no!'s were heard last night during the show.
The emotion in the episode was high, with some of the crew in danger, and others having seemingly betrayed them, and their whole world has come crashing down on them, and they weren't kidding when they said this episode was game-changing, 'cos it was, and it really, really changes things for the Bus. The episode put a lot of relationships/friendships in a strain, and tore apart others. There was a lot of tension in the episode, and it was definitely a dark episode, by AOS standards, anyway. It still retained it's trademark lightheartedness, in just the right times, and one of my favorite lines from last night was Coulson's 'Boyah!' during one of the fight scenes. This episode was one of the most brilliant episodes of AOS yet, but I wouldn't recommend people who haven't see Cap 2 watch it, 'cos as I've said before, it spoils the plot of the movie. A lot of the scenes were really well done, and honestly, I'm having trouble not trusting anyone, 'cos I have a lot of favorite characters, so I trust a lot of characters, but some of the characters were acting awfully suspicious, and I really hope they're not going to end up bad, so...yeah. I wasn't particularly happy with the amount of romantic stuff going on in the episode (nothing too bad though), it wasn't unnecessary, but I think it was definitely too early for some of it. That cliffhanger though, wow. I kind of sarcastically said [spoilers] was going to [spoilers] the other three, but when it happened I was going 'WHAT?'. So, yeah. Awesome episode, one of the best. Really. This show better have a Season 2, cause this show has a lot of potential to be amazing.

Overview:
5/5

  2. I was wondering if you had seen the episode, 'cause the last time you mentioned Cap 2, you said you hadn't seen it yet, and this episode REALLY spoils the episode. If it helps, they're reshowing the episode next week on Tuesday at 8:00pm, I think, and the new episode follows at 9:00pm. No problem.
Looking forward to what you thought of the episode. Thanks! That's alright. Hope you get to see Cap 2 soon!
