Psych: The Break-Up Review

I know, you know, I'm not telling the truth...

On Wednesday 26th, 2014, one of the best (in my opinion) television series had it's series finale. And that show was Psych. So, onto the last review of Psych, ever..... excuse me for a moment- (why? why? WHY?)- ahem, anyway, onto the review....

  Synopsis:
Shawn has made a difficult decision to move to San Francisco with Juliet, but is unable to figure out how to tell Gus.

Review:
Wow. That was...a splendid episode, and the perfect send-off to Psych. Really. It really showed how the characters have come together over the years, has shown just how tough Shawn and Gus's friendship is, continued on with the Shawn/Juliet relationship, furthered Mcnab's career as a detective, featured humor, and a Monk reference at the end. The episode focused more on Shawn being unable to tell Gus about moving, and not as much on the case, but in this episode, it didn't hurt the episode at all (unlike previous Psych episodes). This is also the first episode of Psych to have me in tears (there's been a lot of those here lately with TV shows. I'm looking at you Castle. I would also mention Doctor Who, but it has made me cry a lot, so...), and I was just devastated during the episode. Really, it was like watching the last episode of Gilmore Girls again...*sigh*. I really felt for Shawn during the whole episode, and the DVD scenes were really touching, and that was were most of the crying occurred. The episode just felt like a perfect send-off, and was just wonderful. Easily one of the best series finales I've ever seen.

Overview:
5/5

I didn't watch Psych from the beginning. I'll admit that. I started watching the show the year before last (I think), and I've been watching since. I kind of lost touch with Psych during Season Eight, and managed to catch up on some of the episodes, but not all of them. (Sort of how I am with Warehouse 13. I watched the first episode of season four, and haven't caught up on them since. I might however watch the last episode). Anyway, so I'm a relatively new Psych-O (Psych fan). But Psych grew to be one of my favorite shows, and was one of the funniest shows I watched. I'm really sad to see it go. But, there's always re-runs. So, this is it, hopefully not (I've heard it both ways). Goodbye, Psych.
