New Star Trek Series Confirmed

After a long while filled with rumors, CBS has finally confirmed that the infamous franchise is returning once more.
"There is no better time to give Star Trek fans a new series than on the heels of the original show's 50th anniversary celebration. Everyone here has great respect for this storied franchise and we're excited to launch its next television chapter in the creative mind and skilled hands of Alex Kurtzman, someone who knows this world and its audience intimately."-David Stapf, President of CBS Television Studios.
However, it seems only the pilot episode will air on CBS. The rest of the series will air on CBS All Access, according to Marc DeBevoise, the Executive Vice President/General Manager of CBS Digital media.
The series is expected to premiere in January of 2016. No word yet if it has any direct ties to- or takes place in the same universe as- the current Star Trek movie series.

Star Trek: Video Game Review

Alright, I will admit it. I'm a Trekkie. Not a major one, though, however I do enjoy watching the movies, and I love the new movies. A week or so back, we got the Star Trek video game that came out April 23rd, 201. Now, I had the game finished in five days, and I loved it. It's an awesome game all around, hard at times, but just plain fun the rest of the time.
Note: I don't usually do Video Game Reviews, so I'm new at these kinds of reviews!

Overview:
Kirk and Spock find out that a mysterious alien race called the Gorn is after a special device called the Helios Machine that is to help build New Vulcan. When Kirk and Spock go to try and retrieve it, they find out that a virus is starting to spread, infecting both humans and Vulcans and making them turn into a crazed state of mind, and realize that the Gorn is at the very heart of the problem.

Review:
Alright, so, Star Trek. Was it good, or was it bad? It was awesome. I had loads of fun playing it, and it reminded me a lot of the Doctor Who: Adventure Games in format. Admittedly, it is quite a lot harder when playing two-player, it was fairly easy during one-player only. The game can have you wandering about the maps for awhile, attempting to figure out what you're supposed to do (this happened to me a few times), but besides that it's easy to play. The controls are fairly easy to get used to as well (or at least for me, anyway), and the graphics are done well.

Tips: Once you've finished the game, wait until the credits are over, otherwise you'll miss something!

Note: The game is rated 'Teen' however, there is some language in it, which shocked me for a Teen rated game.

Stars: 5 out of 5

P.S.
Sorry for the small delay in posts, but I've been sort of busy with school, and I couldn't figure out anything to review. However, I'm thinking of doing a review on the first Spider-Girl series. In other news, it's only a couple more days until Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.! I cannot wait-I'm marathoning the series over the weekend to prepare myself. I just can't simply wait to see what happens after that last cliffhanger. Hopefully, there won't be anymore hiatuses. Hopefully, anyway.

Have you played the game? What did you think of it? If you haven't played the game, are you interested? Comment Below!

P.P.S.
Isn't that trailer awesome?

Star Trek Into Darkness: The Review

Funny, Entertaining, Funny again, action packed, and (pun intended) dark.

Those are a few words to describe the brand new Star Trek movie, Into Darkness. Amazingly, for a sequel, it was good. I'd go as far to say it was better than the first. There are some twists you never saw coming, some you did see coming, and it was hilarious. It was action packed, as a movie should be in my opinion, and it truly showed the best of the newest Enterprise crew. I loved it and found it highly entertaining.
