Synopsis:

Review:
I'll be honest with you-I've been enjoying Series Eight. A lot. In fact, I'd say that I haven't had a single episode I haven't liked yet. And tonight didn't disprove that assertion. While it wasn't quite as good as the last light-hearted episode-Robot of Sherwood-the episode was still wonderfully hilarious. It had a lot of nice scenes, hilarious scenes, and some nods to the past. The creature itself wasn't all that scary, but proved itself as a threat within the first few minutes it was on screen. The Danny/Clara relationship is continued, and has it put under some strains. The Doctor/Clara friendship is still awesome, and I can't wait to see how it'll continue. The episode definitely left me scratching my head, and wanting more answers. Will we get them? I don't know-well, technically, yeah we will-but next week's episode looks terrifying. Spoiler Alert: I'm terrified of spiders.
Overview:
4/5

Yet another top notch episode! It was funny and the character drama really worked. After the disappointing first episode, this season has been very consistent.

It was funny, and the drama did work. I loved the *Spoilers* Eleven references, though. *End Spoilers* I personally enjoyed the first episode, but I agree-this season has been consistent, and, in my mind, on a roll!

Another nice, solid Who episode! I'm enjoying season 8 very much too. :D I'm liking Danny a lot, I hope he goes traveling with them eventually!
ReplyDeleteSo far, I don't think there's been an episode I haven't liked. Danny is a cool character, and I like him too, and it would be interesting to see him on the TARDIS (if the Doctor would allow it, that is....)
