So, admittedly, I don't think I've ever seen the original Red Dawn, but when my Mom put on the new one, I got kind of interested, and started to watch it. Which is why we're here, so, alons-y!
Synopsis:
When enemy forces take over America, it's up to a lone group of teenagers to try and save the day-but can they?
Review:
So, I didn't think the movie would be any good, but in fact it was. It sort of felt like watching a video game at some points (and I definitely could see it becoming a video game at some point), but not in a bad way. The movie handled everything well; tension, action, heartbreak, humor, jaw-dropping surprises, ect. It had a likeable cast of characters, plenty of 'what's going to happen next' moments, and plenty more. The ending really pulled the rug from under me, and I was really shocked by it. It's definitely a film worth watching at some point, although I wasn't quite fond of all the langauge in it (and it was a PG-13 movie, I do believe). Beyond that, it was a real good movie.
