Star Wars: The Phantom Menace Review

Screencap from the trailer
Okay, firstly, I'm the wrong person to review any Star Wars film. I love it. I grew up watching the entire saga, I've seen the movies so many times, if you muted the film, I'll still know what the characters are saying. They're some of my favorite movies. But, seeing as how Star Wars Day is just right around the corner, and I promised this little saga of posts in honor of May the Fourth, I'm going to go ahead and do this one.
Firstly, I'm going to give you a little heads up. Everyday up to May the Fourth, there will be a Star Wars review. But, just so you know, within the next four days, I have to finish watching both The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Secondly, I'm completely biased to be doing this review, but I'm doing it anyway.
 Synopsis:
When the Trade Federation blockades the peaceful planet of Naboo, the Jedi are forced to intervene and protect the recently elected Queen Amidala from harm, while trying to piece together the mystery of a young boy named Anakin Skywalker.

Review:
Okay, I know these movies get a lot of hate, but I can't really see why. This movie, growing up, was one of my favorite Star Wars movies ever. But, here lately, I don't really have a favorite, because they are all just so darn awesome. Anyway, this movie is still completely awesome. I just recently re-watched it last week, I was amazed by how well the effects still stand, even by today's standards, it was amazing. The whole movie is amazing. I love the Pod-Racing scene, it's completely awesome (the Pod-Race was my favorite part on Star Tours. Long story.), I love all the fight scenes, and (I realize that this is blasphemy, but I'm saying it anyhow) I like Jar Jar. Always have. I'm a teenager, and I still like Jar Jar.
The movie is quite hilarious at times too, mainly the banter between Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon and Jar Jar in the beginning, but it's a great movie. I love the soundtrack in it too, some of those were just plain awesome, cos I rented the soundtrack from the library once.
This is a just a spectacular, awesome, wonderful movie, and I love every little detail about it, and I don't care what anyone says, this is still a great movie, and I love it. Awesome. Just awesome.

 Overview:
Hmm....not enough digits in the universe to describe how awesome the movie is. Oh! Infinity. Yeah.
5/5
