Doctor Who is no stranger to Christmas-in fact, several of it's episodes have been placed at Christmas time. But one of the things we get to look forward to is a new Doctor Who Christmas Special on Christmas day. Though there was originally a cloud surrounding the 2013 special, that cloud has been lifted by the BBC's controller of drama commissioning Ben Stephenson, who talked about the 50th and Christmas Specials for 2013. "It's a nationwide celebration of both Doctor Who and the BBC, " Also, Doctor Who's 50th will be finding itself in 3D and shown in cinemas.
Until that time however, Saturday March 30th finds the Doctor and Clara back on our screens for eight wonderful adventures.
